Michaela (b. 1966, Derbyshire) is an accomplished artist and ceramicist whose practice blends painting, drawing and sculpture.
After training in painting, she discovered ceramics during her degree in Sustainable Design, specialising in sculptural work using locally sourced brick clay.
She lived and worked in St Ives, Cornwall, with a studio at The Gaolyard and collaborated with Tate Gallery.
Her work, rooted in sustainability, has been exhibited widely, including at Tate Modern (2019) and in a solo show at Buxton Art Gallery.
She also teaches, holds a PGCE, and has completed public commissions.
